About ACML

Akram Cotton Mills Limited (ACML) is a medium sized spinning mill specializing in the production of carded & combed cotton yarns ranging from Ne 20/1 to 30/1 for hosiery purposes. Since commencement of operations in 1993, ACML has committed itself to a strict balancing, modernization, replacement & expansion (BMR&E) program to ensure that its customers receive the finest quality yarns. Current capacity stands at 23,220 spindles with all necessary back processes and in-house yarn testing equipment.

The mill is in Pattoki, Punjab, which is located at a distance of 90-km from Lahore on the Lahore-Multan National Highway. The mill is spread over approximately 25 acres and it has a total constructed building area of over 200,000 square feet. Since we at ACML strongly believe that a satisfied workforce is also a more productive workforce, the mill compound includes residential quarters for its employees, provision of clean drinking water through in-house reverse osmosis plant and tube well, canteen, park area, etc.

Machinery at ACML has been selected carefully keeping in mind the requirements of its customers and fibers spun. Suppliers include Trutzschler Germany, Reiter Switzerland, Murata Japan, Hara Japan, Toyoda Japan, Shanghai Erfangji China, Texpart Germany, etc. Raw material i.e. cotton though abundantly available in Pakistan is routinely imported from India, Brazil, Australia, USA, etc. depending on requirements of customers. BCI cotton is also regularly spun in unit.

We are also proud to be long-term suppliers to Pakistan’s finest hosiery exporters (reference list can be provided upon request). Furthermore, we also export yarn to quite a few countries of the world including China, Lebanon, Egypt, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Europe and USA.
